![]() ![]() Tragus piercings have become increasingly popular and there is a wide choice of jewellery that you can wear including Labret Studs, Barbells and Ball Closure Rings. ![]() The good news is that your Tragus has very few nerve endings, which means less pain! Your Tragus piercing can take anywhere between 3 and 6 months to heal, and possibly up to a year in some cases. The Tragus piercing sits in the part of the ear that adjoins the side of the face that protrudes into the centre of the ear, and partially covers the ear canal. The Industrial piercing can take around 2-4 months to heal we recommend a flexible Bioplast barbell to reduce the stress on your new piercing or in extreme cases a cartilage stud can be used whilst the piercing heals. The industrial piercing is sometimes known by other names, the most popular being the ‘construction piercing’, or ‘scaffold piercing’. A straight barbell connects the two ear piercings, which are most commonly located in the helix and anti-helix. Industrial piercings are made up of two separate ear cartilage piercings joined by a single piece of jewellery. The industrial piercing has often been associated with radical out-there punk styles but these days is seen as a more day to day unique addition to your style. Our most popular choice of jewellery for the Rook is the ball closure ring, although short barbells and circular barbells also look outstanding, again we recommend cleaning the piercing twice a day using a sterile saline solution. The Rook piercing goes through a thick layer of cartilage, which is usually more painful than the Helix piercings and takes a little more time to heal possibly up to 6 months. This distinctive piercing is a real stand out for 2021. The Rook is a creative piercing that sits near the inner ridge of the ear cartilage, just below the Helix piercing.
